i got a lot done last night! nick helped me hang curtains in the living room, i put up some temporary curtains in the bedroom (to help keep the chill out), and i worked on my chair. i actually didn't know how it was going to turn out, but the more i look at it, the more i like it. i was up 'til 2am working on it, but it's half done. picture:
basically, i'm wrapping fabric around it. when i'm done, i'll add a cushion. the nice thing is, if i decide later that i don't like it, i'll just take off the fabric and change it. ;)

let's see, we've got a flood watch, a tornado watch... at least the flash flood warning has expired. for now. i love texas weather. ;)
