oops. here i am about to head to my meeting this morning and i get a call from the venue where we usually have the meeting. "don't you remember this month we were already booked?" (i set up the meeting places last summer.) "um, i'm not on the board anymore, but i'll let someone know." turns out, the present board members didn't check the calendar i put together. thankfully we had an open classroom in the center for executive development, so i think we're going to get a late start to the meeting while everyone trickles over from the original spot 10 minutes away.
the panic in his voice still makes me laugh...
