...it might be time for more adventures in moving.
at least this time 90% of my stuff is still packed up in boxes since it's in storage, so it won't be quite the ordeal that it has been in the past.
background: several people have mentioned to me that i should consider the on-site manager position that's opening on one of our properties at the end of july. it's a small rent credit, but i'll be paying what i was in texas, which is pretty good for this area. it's a one bedroom, and i go to see it tomorrow. i might be able to get into a two bedroom if i pressed, though. the thought of having to hunt down a place for a desk...ick. but we'll see. i think these have balconies/patios -- a balcony for me because i think this is an upstairs unit. only two stories, thank goodness. oh, and there's off-street parking, which is good since it's terribly hard to find parking in that area of san diego. there's a 'curves' nearby. it opens at 7am instead of 6, but at least my drive to work will be about 20 minutes instead of an hour, so i think that will be alright.
oh, and did i mention that this cuts my driving time from swing dancing by 1/4? :) that's probably the best part.
the worst? i've really enjoyed staying with my mom. i'm going to miss being able to hang out with her as much when i go. :(
