i don't care how many times i hear or see it, it still makes me laugh...
What do you call cheese that isn't yours?
Nacho cheese.

this has to have been the best new year's weekend that i've ever had. san diego had their 'rhythmic arts festival' - aka the new year's exchange. it was all about tons of dancing, staying up late, and figuring out just how many people i could squash into my apartment comfortably...or semi-comfortably (that would be 8 for the record. and one bathroom.) i got to visit with some people i hadn't seen in a while, and matthew even showed back up after having disappeared for a few months while finishing up school.
i bravely entered the balboa competition - i think i might do it again next year and see what happens. hah. i don't think i'd be brave enough to do it "for real" at the bal rendezvous in april. but i don't know.
so now i sit and nurse a cold (all that staying out til 4am) and deal with beginning of the month foo at work...and bask in the memories of what has been the greatest start to a new year yet.
