that's life. hard drive dies...not recoverable. i'm still not sure exactly what all i lost in terms of pictures. i probably won't know until i've gotten everything loaded that i had given my sister. ah well. such is life. ...and i made a backup of everything on to dvd after i finished loading it back on. ayup. going to be more careful about that in the future.
periodically i am reminded about why i enjoy my roll as peacemaker. i like being the neutral party...especially when it comes to office politics. i guess i just try to stay above it all (literally!! my office is upstairs) and not get involved. not sure why we go for so long here at the office before something happens that just kind of polarizes everyone and makes them circle around each other warily. i guess some people just like to have drama in their lives. as if property management isn't melodramatic enough on its own!
anyway, life's moving back to normal now that i'm caught up on sleep and over the migraines i've had. and it's all just in time to pack up and head to san francisco for a long weekend of r&r with mom and sis before the summer rush.
