this weekend i stayed home and did absolutely nothing really...and it was great. okay, so i did make 10 valentine's cards (and cleaned up), and g and i did go to henry's last night to see robin henkel and smokestaxx. but today we just sat around and caught up to current on diggnation podcast episodes and messed around on our computers.
i'm still hunting for software or a combination of software pieces to implement gtd. i think my main problem is that i really need it to be seamless between home and work and mac and pc. i know i'm not the only one - i recently joined the macintosh_pims@googlegrops.com and have heard a few of the people there request the same. i've started using plaxo and it's great to keep home and work pcs synced, but right now they only support mozilla and thunderbird on the mac. It'd be great if they could come out with something that would work with either entourage or ical/addressbook. i'll take either. probably entourage, though, as i don't think that ical's todo section is all that advanced (e.g. able to assign multiple categories to one task). i did discover voodoopad, which is great. it works with wikis, which is something that i discovered when i was messing with gtd_tiddlywiki. to quote the about file, it's like my own personal world wide web. thus far, it's been nice for collecting links and information that i want to reference later. but the hunt is still on for the ideal...
