that's the rhythmic arts festival to the uninitiated and what i did for new year's weekend. the dances are over, my hostees are gone...now it's time to recover. lots of dancing and lots of mess around my apartment. still need to get the tree down. washing to do...
too bad i don't feel like doing much more than sitting on the couch and vegging. hopefully i can talk myself into alternating 15 minute sessions so i can get a few things done. meanwhile, i'll miss g while he hangs out with his friend visiting from out of town.
today and yesterday were mass-rent-entering sessions interspersed with check writing for stuff that goes out at the beginning of the month. it should slow down in time to finish packing up the rest of our 2005 files. i'm looking forward to the middle of the month again. ah. quiet. i hope.
oh. saw king kong on monday. aie. the bug scenes still freak me out just thinking about it. i'm a big weenie already. i didn't need to see that! otherwise it was a great movie, thought i have to beg to differ with jack black's character's last assessment of the situation ("'twas beauty that killed the beast.") no, you jerk. it was greed that killed the beast. *your* greed. but yeah. it was a great movie - well filmed except for the obvious blue-screened chase scenes. ;)
