i finally managed to get the mt upgrade to work. of course, in between last week and today i also was in new york for a few days. amazing what leaving out a folder will do.
new york was a ton of fun. we had tickets to lion king, the producers, and wicked. lion king was the best - the puppetry and costumes were amazing. wicked...well...you begin to realize that the most maligned people may just have had bad pr. it was great. the producers was funny, but the others were just awesome.
we ran the gamut of weather - sun, rain, snow, warmth, bitter cold...it snowed and iced over the last day we were there. of course, that's the day that mom and sis decided that they wanted to visit ground zero (new meaning to that name!), the empire state building...at least i picked up a warm hat and scarf along the way. i need to get better gloves. knit ones just don't cut it. not at all. after an adventure on the subway, we walked back to where we were staying through central park...where i slipped and fell and hurt my knee and wrist. at least i had my knee brace with me...and my wrist is feeling much better today.
six and a half hours on a plane coming back...i'm ready to be at home for a while.
