and this time, my attention turns to the outdoors. over the last month or so, i've replaced most of the plants i have outdoors - including a jasmine, gardenia, another double impatien, another kolanchoe (i do have a teeny patio, you see) and i finally got a gas grill.
of course, a lot i can blame on g who also seems to be now hooked on hgtv and debbie travis' facelift. yes i record them on the dvr, but he's the one who sits and plays them all in a row. mom's gotten in on the fun and is redoing her front yard. (g and i spend saturday helping her spread dg in between the pavers to reduce the trip hazard.)
of course, i can blame my lastest idea on mom since i was looking through gardening magazines to help her with her yard. in one of those mazagines i found an article that gave me a bug for redoing the table and chairs that i've had since i was in texas. ...though the last time that i redid them i had to fend off mosquitoes the entire time. i don't think i'll have to worry about it this time. mostly i have to wait until it stays late light enough that i can paint it when i get home since i seem to have no time on the weekends.
aside from that, rededicating myself to my creative memories business has consumed most of my time. oh, and bal rendezvous is coming up this weekend, so i've been trying to get my home in shape to host a couple of people. and then the weekend after that is memoranza (aka national scrapbook day). and then another class... but this is good. being busy keeps me outta trouble.
so now i need to find out what kind of paint to use on the glass table...and figure out what kind of pattern i want to paint and how and make a pattern to paint from and...and...whew. i'm tired. ;)
