the last few weeks have found me wondering why on earth i pay three times as much for business internet service when it's always down...and my residential service had no issues. oh yeah, that's right. i need a static ip address.
but that's all in the past now. they finally came and ran a new wire from the roof, down the side of the building, and into my apartment. which is good, as my internet was down from 10am until about 9:45 pm.
oh, and i turned 30 on saturday. the fam, g and i spent the weekend camping at campland surrounded by the rest of san diego county. we spent days on my uncle's trimaran, and evenings at the hanging out at the campsite. is it really camping when you have electricity at your campsite and you can run home during the day to pick up stuff you forgot? it was fun and will probably become an annual labor day event. g and i have decided we need to put together a camping box so we don't forget stuff.
oh, and kalvin makes a great camping and sailing dog. i'll have to post a picture of him in his life vest. (too bad i forgot to take one on the boat!)
